Ancient Astronauts

The gods were travelers. The scriptures, mission logs. So the theory goes.

The thesis (Charioteer-era von Däniken, refined by Sitchin and Temple): ancient religious texts record contact with technological visitors. Mainstream archaeology rejects it as unnecessary — human ingenuity suffices — and notes its colonial undertone of doubting non-European builders. The node is the hub of the ancient cluster because nearly every entry (Nazca, vimanas, Anunnaki, Dogon, Quetzalcoatl) is a spoke of the same argument: that mythology is misfiled reporting.
