SUMMARY
Unidentified submerged objects, tracked at speeds no navy can match — underwater.
FULL DOSSIER
Unidentified submerged objects: the navy's version of the problem. Documented cases run from the 1963 Wave off Puerto Rico (sonar contacts at 150+ knots reported during ASW exercises) to the 2019 acknowledgment that Navy ships off San Diego filmed transmedium objects entering the water. Physics makes the file interesting: supercavitation at those speeds should be deafening and visible. Connects Shag Harbour, the Nimitz events (whose object was tracked dropping toward a rendezvous point at sea), and older maritime lore the coast guards never wrote down.
