Ubatuba Fragments
SUMMARY
Magnesium from an exploding disc off Brazil, purer — early labs said — than industry could make. Samples keep getting lost.
FULL DOSSIER
1957: fragments said to come from a disc that exploded over Ubatuba, Brazil reached columnist Ibrahim Sued; analysis by Brazilian labs reported magnesium of unusual purity. Later analyses (Condon-era and after) found purity within industrial capability, though isotope-ratio anomalies were claimed in some runs. Chain of custody is the file's weakness — no crash witnesses were ever located. It persists as the physical-evidence class's representative: material exists, provenance doesn't. Links Roswell debris lore and Element 115's fuel claims.
