Tunguska
SUMMARY
A thousand Hiroshimas over Siberia, no crater, no fragments. Tesla had been testing that week.
FULL DOSSIER
June 30, 1908: a 10-15 megaton airburst flattened 2,150 square kilometers of Siberian taiga — no crater, no confirmed meteoritic mass, trees standing at the epicenter with branches stripped. The airburst-comet model fits and is consensus. The folklore's Tesla annex is chronology: Wardenclyffe's transmitter era, his documented teleforce claims, and a legend (unsourced) that he asked for Arctic expedition coordinates that spring. No document supports it; physics doesn't either. The entry survives as the archive's monument to explanation-shaped holes: an event violent beyond precedent, explained convincingly, witnessed by no instrument that could confirm it.
