The Quarantine

They can't intervene openly, the doctrine goes. Disclosure has a bureaucracy too.

The quarantine: the recurring claim that Earth is deliberately isolated — Star Trek's Prime Directive as folk shorthand, the Law of One's 'quarantine of Earth,' the zoo hypothesis in SETI literature (Ball, 1973, a real Icarus paper). Documented: the zoo hypothesis is a legitimate published answer to Fermi's paradox, unfalsifiable by construction. The quarantine inverts every cover-up on this map: here it is not governments hiding aliens from people, but aliens hiding the universe from Earth — the cover-up promoted to cosmology.
