Blavatsky's 1875 synthesis — hidden Himalayan masters, root races, Atlantis and Lemuria as history, all religions as one secret doctrine — is the source code of the modern new age. The documented reach is enormous: it introduced karma and reincarnation to the West, shaped Gandhi's early circle, gave Wassily Kandinsky his metaphysics, and via its Ariosophist corruptions in Vienna and Munich, fed the Thule milieu that incubated something monstrous. The Mahatma Letters (her masters' correspondence) were judged partly fraudulent by the SPR in 1885 — a verdict softened in 1986. Both verdicts are in the file.
