Project Stargate
SUMMARY
The Army's remote viewers, staring at coordinates for twenty years. Declassified, mostly.
FULL DOSSIER
The umbrella name for two decades of US remote-viewing programs (SRI's SCANATE, the Army's GRILL FLAME/CENTER LANE, DIA's SUN STREAK), 1972-95, ~$20 million, declassified into the CIA's CREST database in 2017 — 12 million pages of the government's psychic archive. Documented operational tasking included the Iran hostages, Soviet submarine construction (the famous Typhoon-adjacent sketch), and Lockheed's stealth leak hunt. The 1995 AIR review split its own evaluators: Utts (statistician) found effects real and replicable; Hyman (skeptic) found no mechanism and no operational value. They closed it on the second sentence. Both sentences are in the file.
