October 11, 1973: Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker, night-fishing on the Pascagoula River, reported being floated aboard by wrinkled, carrot-fingered beings. The sheriff, suspecting a hoax, left them alone in a bugged interview room. The secret tape — released decades later — records two terrified men praying, not conspiring. Parker stayed silent for forty years before writing it down; other witnesses on the river surfaced in 2019. The tape is the exhibit: whatever happened, they believed it.
