The Majestic 12 story begins with the Eisenhower Briefing Document, mailed anonymously as undeveloped film to a UFO researcher in 1984: twelve named officials — Bush (Vannevar), Forrestal, Twining among them — chartered by Truman in September 1947 to manage the Roswell recovery. The FBI stamped its copy 'BOGUS'; document examiners split over typewriter fonts and signature grafts. It links to Roswell (its stated origin), Blue Book (its alleged public-relations layer), and the Eisenhower meeting lore (its alleged successor briefings). Real or forged, someone with intimate knowledge of 1947 personnel built it — and forgery by an insider is itself a data point.
