Attacks staged to authorize what was already planned. Northwoods put it in writing.

FULL DOSSIER

Picture a government setting off a bomb in its own city, killing its own people, and then pointing at the enemy it already wanted to fight. Sounds like something a guy in a basement would scrawl on a whiteboard, right? Here's the uncomfortable part: it's not always fiction. The history books have receipts. So let's separate what's DOCUMENTED from what's LEGEND, because this node is the hub where the whole cluster meets, and the difference is everything. Documented, first. On August 31, 1939, SS men in Polish uniforms staged a phony 'Polish' attack on a German radio station at Gleiwitz. Hitler used it to justify invading Poland the next morning. We know this because the operation's leader, Alfred Naujocks, swore to it under oath at Nuremberg. That's a false flag, proven in a courtroom. In 1954, Israeli agents planted bombs on Western targets in Egypt hoping the blame would land elsewhere; the Lavon Affair collapsed, and Israel decades later acknowledged it. And in the Gulf of Tonkin in August 1964, a reported second North Vietnamese attack helped stampede America into Vietnam. An NSA study later concluded flatly: 'no attack happened that night.' But here's where it gets strange. Some 'classic' cases are actually contested. The 1933 Reichstag fire is still argued by historians: was it the Nazis lighting the match to seize emergency powers, or the lone arsonist they blamed? The honest answer is DISPUTED, and we mark it that way. And here's the part most people don't know. The pattern is real enough that a whole modern reflex grew out of it: the instinct to scream 'false flag!' after every mass shooting, every bombing, every tragedy on the news. That reflex is SPECULATION, not evidence, and it has a human cost of its own, sending online mobs to harass grieving parents who buried real children. Documenting the record does not mean endorsing the reflex. A handful of proven cases does not make every event a hoax. This is the connective tissue, so let's follow the threads. The cleanest proof America ever put on paper is northwoods, the 1962 Joint Chiefs plan to fake terrorism and frame Cuba, our neighbor node and the smoking-gun proposal at the center of this web. gulf-of-tonkin is the sister case, the reported attack that dissolved under its own intelligence. And gladio pulls the story to Cold War Europe, where NATO's secret stay-behind armies were real, and the 'strategy of tension' pinned on them remains one of the most bitterly contested chapters in the entire archive. On the map, this file sits dead center, the concept every other node in the cluster orbits. Follow any thread out of here and you're really asking the same question these cases forced onto the record: when the state says who attacked us, how do you know?
