But to conspiracy readers, 'New World Airport' plus a Masonic emblem reads like 'New World Order' announcing itself in stone. That ties this file straight to your neighbor MASONIC-CAPSTONE and, one step further, to NWO, the master theory of a hidden global government. Now the LEGEND, and mark it clearly as unproven. The claims: miles of secret underground bunkers beneath the runways, a base for the Illuminati or reptilian elites; the airport built five times too big as cover for excavation; the whole layout, from above, shaped like a swastika; tunnels ready to shelter the powerful when the apocalypse comes. What's actually documented underground is mundane, a partly abandoned automated baggage system so notoriously buggy it helped blow the budget, plus standard service tunnels. No secret city has ever been shown to exist. Here's the part that makes Denver special. The airport LEANS IN. DEN has run an official campaign winking at the theories, gargoyle statues that 'talk,' construction barriers joking about lizard people and the Illuminati, and an exhibit literally titled 'Conspiracy Theories Uncovered,' presenting each rumor beside its real explanation.
