Archons

Parasitic rulers of the unseen. Some say they never left — just changed wardrobe.

The gnostic texts describe them precisely: rulers of the spheres, gatekeepers between humanity and the true light, feeding on — the Apocryphon of John is explicit — human despair. Modern lore found the job description familiar. They connect backward to gnosticism's demiurge and forward to every parasite-elite motif in the archive: Icke's reptilians (he cites the archons directly), the loosh-farming cosmology of the new-age file, and the interdimensional hypothesis's suggestion that whatever visits was never 'visiting' at all.
