That is the core of the 'reptilian' theory, and its most famous promoter is a British former sports presenter and footballer named David Icke. Here's what's on the record about the belief itself. Starting in the 1990s, in books like 'The Biggest Secret,' Icke put forward the claim that a bloodline of shape-shifting, inter-dimensional reptilian beings — he links them to a 'Draco' reptilian lineage, the neighbor on this map — secretly controls humanity from the shadows. He says these entities hide among royalty, political dynasties, and financial elites, feeding on human fear. Icke has repeated and expanded these claims for decades in books, lectures, and sold-out arena talks. So here's where it gets serious, and where we stop and tell the truth plainly. Many scholars, anti-hate organizations, and journalists have argued that Icke's reptilian theory recycles old ANTISEMITIC tropes. Critics — including researchers of antisemitism and organizations like the Anti-Defamation League and the Community Security Trust — have pointed out that his story of a secret, blood-linked, non-human elite controlling banks and media closely mirrors the structure of classic antisemitic conspiracy myths, especially those drawn from the fabricated 'Protocols of the Elders of Zion,' which Icke has referenced. Some defenders insist he means literal aliens and not any ethnic group. But the criticism is substantial, well-documented, and it is not something we wave away. We attribute the reptilian claims to David Icke. We do NOT endorse them. And we report, honestly, that they have been widely criticized as carrying antisemitic and racial undertones. There is, of course, no scientific evidence for shape-shifting reptilian overlords. No specimen, no verified sighting, nothing testable.
