And there is one real, oddly specific breadcrumb the believers point to: for a time, a U.S. Army reference list actually contained an acronym entry, 'Voice to Skull devices,' describing nonlethal weapons that transmit sound into the skull. That entry was real. It was later quietly removed, which of course only deepened the suspicion. But, and this matters, an acronym on a glossary is not a deployed weapon. There is no credible, documented evidence that any device can transmit intelligible speech into a specific person's head across a room, let alone across a city. The physics that makes clicks possible does not scale cleanly to sentences without energy levels that would be dangerous, obvious, and easily detected. That part remains firmly in the realm of speculation and legend. And this is the part I want you to sit with.
