SUMMARY
"Do what thou wilt." Dictated in Cairo, Crowley said, by a voice that wasn't his.
FULL DOSSIER
Cairo, April 8-10, 1904: Crowley, on honeymoon, transcribed three chapters dictated — he maintained to his death — by a discarnate intelligence named Aiwass. 'The Book of the Law' announced a new aeon and one law: do what thou wilt. Crowley spent decades trying to disprove his own reception and couldn't, which is either testament or symptom. Thelema connects the OTO (which he rebuilt around it), Parsons (who died invoking its goddess), and the file's recurring puzzle: dictated books — Blake, the Ra Material, the Course in Miracles — whose authors insist they were stenographers.
