Technocracy Inc.
SUMMARY
Engineers proposing to replace politics with measurement, price with energy credits. Disbanded — or early.
FULL DOSSIER
Technocracy Inc. (Howard Scott, M. King Hubbert; peak 1932-33): replace price and politics with engineers allocating energy certificates across a continental 'Technate.' Documented, published (the Technocracy Study Course), briefly banned in Canada (1940-43), and largely defunct. Its revival in the lore comes via energy-credit parallels to carbon budgets and CBDCs, plus a genealogical footnote: Elon Musk's grandfather, Joshua Haldeman, led Canadian Technocracy (documented). The node connects the great-reset and CBDC files to their 1930s prototype.
