SUMMARY
Officer Zamora watched an egg on legs lift from an arroyo. Hynek called it the case that couldn't be dismissed.
FULL DOSSIER
April 24, 1964: Officer Lonnie Zamora, chasing a speeder outside Socorro, New Mexico, broke off to investigate a roar and flame in an arroyo — and found an egg-shaped craft on legs, two small figures beside it, and an insignia he sketched. It departed with a roar, leaving burned brush and landing-gear impressions the FBI and Air Force photographed. Hynek called Zamora the most credible single witness in the files; Blue Book carried it as unexplained. It connects to Blue Book's residue — the cases the explanations never reached.
