The Saturn Hexagon
SUMMARY
A perfect six-sided storm, wider than Earth, spinning at the pole. Nature, insists nature.
FULL DOSSIER
The hexagonal jet stream at Saturn's north pole — imaged by Voyager (1981) and Cassini (2006-17), each side longer than Earth's diameter — is real and persistent. Laboratory fluid dynamics reproduces polygonal standing waves in rotating tanks, making it explained-in-principle, unexplained-in-full (its stability and depth remain research subjects). It appears in the archive because a planet-scale sacred-geometry figure maintained for decades reads, to the pattern-minded, as signature rather than fluid mechanics. Links sacred geometry and the ringmakers file.
