Priory of Sion
SUMMARY
A bloodline guarded for a thousand years — invented, records show, by a Frenchman in 1956. And yet.
FULL DOSSIER
The confirmed forgery at the heart of the grail industry: Pierre Plantard registered the Priory in 1956, planted the 'Dossiers Secrets' (parchments naming grand masters — Newton, da Vinci, Hugo) in the Bibliothèque nationale, and confessed under oath in 1993. 'Holy Blood, Holy Grail' built the bloodline thesis on it; Dan Brown built on them. The entry earns its node as the archive's cleanest demonstration of citogenesis: a fabricated society, laundered through real library catalogs into 'a thousand years of history,' still believed by millions who never met the court transcript.
