SUMMARY
Reich's universal life energy. The FDA burned his books by court order — which settled, for believers, the question.
FULL DOSSIER
Wilhelm Reich — once Freud's most brilliant student — proposed a universal biological energy, built accumulators to concentrate it, and reported weather effects from his cloudbuster. The FDA obtained an injunction; when it was breached, the government burned his books and journals in incinerators (1956-60, documented, one of the only federal book burnings in US history) and he died in prison in 1957. The science never replicated; the suppression was total and real. The node stands at the junction of the free-energy file and the archive's sharpest irony: the state's response to a theory of everything was to make its literature illegal.
