Kundalini

Kundalini is doctrine (Upanishads through Tantric systems) with a modern clinical file: 'kundalini syndrome' appears in transpersonal psychiatry literature (Sannella, Greyson's studies at Virginia), the DSM's 'religious or spiritual problem' V-code was partly argued from such cases, and Gopi Krishna's documented 1937 account remains the standard first-person text. Neuroscience engages the phenomenology (meditation-induced altered states are measurable) without the serpent.
