Sasquatch

FILE DATE 1967
CROSS-REFS 01
STATUS NEVER CLOSED
SUMMARY
A continent of footprints and one shaky film. The body, believers say, was bought.
FULL DOSSIER
The Patterson-Gimlin film (Bluff Creek, 1967) remains the argument: costume analysis has never located a seam, zipper, or manufacturer, muscle-mass movement is visible in stabilized frames, and the subject's limb ratios are humanly awkward to fake — while fifty years of suit technology has never reproduced it convincingly. Against it: no body, no bones, no DNA that survives review (the Sykes study returned bears and a paleo-polar hybrid). The FBI's actual file (released 2019: hair analysis for Byrne, 1976 — deer) shows the government took one look. The node connects the wilderness-vanishing file and the North American longhouse of ancient wild-man traditions.
