September 16, 1994, Ruwa, Zimbabwe: sixty-two children at recess reported a landed craft and beings at the edge of the schoolyard. Harvard psychiatrist John Mack interviewed them on film within months — the drawings match, the accounts diverge in exactly the ways honest testimony does, and several children reported received imagery about environmental catastrophe. Follow-ups decades later (the documentary 'Ariel Phenomenon') found the witnesses, now adults, holding the account steady. It anchors the mass-sighting file because sixty-two coordinated child hoaxers is the harder theory.
